PROFESSIONALS…

2015 Paint of Moonlight - Winery Reflections - “Ripe black currant, spearmint leaf, blackberry reduction. Cherry liqueur, shaved graphite, blueberry crisp. Eucalyptus and roasted pepper, cardamom and chocolate covered violet. Seriously sophisticated dark fruit and cassis rides a wave of clean pyrazines accented by crushed gravel and vanilla. Full bodied with pixelated tannin and righteously balanced acidity. (click for full review)

2016 Los Hermanitos - Dan Dawson’s Wine Advisor - 91 points - “Ripe, juicy red cherries, raspberries and sweet cranberries on the nose along with violets and candied ginger introduce you to the Chiron Pinot Noir. Great start. Taste continues on the same path with oolong tea and black truffle flavors sneaking in. Perfect ripeness in my opinion, healthy acidity and structure to make it last for years. Best drinking 2021-2026 (at least).” (click here for full review)

2015 Candor - Virginie Boone, Wine Enthusiast - 92 points - “Densely concentrated and rich in red fruit, this 100% varietal wine also offers complex layers of tobacco, earth and dried herb, mingling it all together into a cohesive whole. The tannins are plush and polished, giving the wine strength with purpose.” (click here for full review)

2015 Paint of Moonlight - Virginie Boone, Wine Enthusiast - 92 points - “A herbal and perfumed nose opens this lovely, well-made and robust wine, which is both softly round and complex in nature. A billowy texture supports firm acidity, integrated oak and bursts of red and black fruit, plum and clove.” (click here for full review)

2015 Candor - Odedi’s Wine Review - “Long finish with firm tannins and tangy raspberries. This is a yummy Napa Cabernet. Showing a great mouthfeel with nice complexity. Still young and would benefit from 3 to 7 years in the bottle, and will probably be a 94+ point wine.” (click here for full review)

2015 Paint of Moonlight - 92 points - Dan Dawson’s Wine Advisor - “Rich nose of kirsch, ripe juicy blackberries, cocoa and vanilla beans. Big hit of fresh, ripe black cherries and berries in the mouth with cocoa, mint, espresso and pomegranate syrup dancing behind. It’s a mouthful. Fine tannins and acidity to support and elevate the flavors. Really impressive. Chiron Cabernet Sauvignon The Paint of Moonlight from Knights Valley walks the fine line of being both drinkable now and great for the cellar. If you drink now, I bet you it drinks best the next day!” (click here for full review)
